THE SATURDAY SESSIONS:
In person, small group
Get personal insights and connect in a small group setting with a maximum of 10 in person participants for this workshop. Not just a 45 minute speed networking activity, really get to know the others in the room over several hours of working together, designing together, and helping each other come up with compelling offers and engagement strategies to bring more valuable sponsors into your program.
Online but still in the room.
This event is hybrid and what that means is if you can't make the physical location, you can still join live, participate, interact with others and network with everyone as well, just like you're in the room. We can even facilitate you setting up your own in-person sub group where you subsequently join the main group online and we have a two-way hybrid event. Getting that in-person experience, without all the travel.
Observe from afar
How cool is it that even if we can't make the date, or can't get to the location, we can still participate in our own time. With the recordings available post event, as well as a closed community to continue the connection, building your compelling sponsorship program has never been easier with this support.
The done-with-you prospectus
Working together to build your plan and ultimately your prospectus, it won't matter whether you join in person, online or access the recordings later, the ultimate outcome will be a sponsorship prospectus that is compelling, interesting and leads your potential supporter to the next conversation.

We promise, once you have been to an Event Managers Network event, you will never feel like you're creating your events alone again. You will always have a list of colleagues, suppliers, and supporters, ready to help you to produce your best event possible.
Are you constantly asking in groups for contacts or connections?
True, many of our friends have great contacts and it's always helpful when they share. But what if you had your own little black book and didn't need to rely on random strangers' recommendations on Facebook?
The Event Managers Network attracts:
- more than 50% full time & part-time event planners
- an even mix of planners and suppliers (vendors)
- about 20% are company owners
- and the rest are company employees or freelancers
You will leave this event with key contacts who you will be able to call on, the next time you're working on your event. No more having to rely on friends or random strangers on the internet. Your contact list is your most valuable asset.

About the Organiser
Hey, I'm Sally and I've been an event producer in Brisbane for many years.
The Event Managers Network was started by Genevieve Deaconos around 2017. Gen had a desire to connect Brisbane's event community and provide opportunities to collaborate and learn from each other. I believe whole heartedly in this mission and in addition, I think we have not only lots to learn from our contemporaries, but also people in other fields who gather audiences, such as music, festivals, dance, film and theatre.
I own the event company Red Lanyard, as well as coach and train people in the art of event planning, filling the gap between a full blown qualification, and doing things on the fly. I love everything about the event planning and delivery and I love nothing more than hanging out with and hearing from people who do the same.
Feel free to track me down in all the usual places and connect with me. I can't wait to meet you.

For nearly 30 years they have been creating breathtaking experiences through styling, prop hire, visual merchandising and Christmas. Starting in 1995 their business has grown to showcase incredible projects and brought joy to many parties. With Jano Kotzas at the helm, The Prop House Collective not only adorns beautiful things to places and spaces, but support an incredible number of charitable endeavours across Brisbane. The Christmas Shop is something to be seen to be believed and we're so grateful to be able to host the workshop in this gorgeous space.
